Directed by Pixote Hunt; Maurice Hunt: animation Joe Johnston: live action came out 1994 A young boy named Richard Tyler takes shelter in a library to escape a storm and accidentally enters an illusory world (animated) of books. Throughout the course of several trials resembling those of popular fictional stories, he is accompanied by Fantasy, Horror, and Adventure, personified books who befriend and aid him in his quest to return home.
